Server logs

Each request is logged with its IP address, the page, the time, the referring page and the browser’s user-agent string. The logs are used to keep the site up and to find faults, and are not sold or shared.

Analytics

Google Analytics counts which pages are read and roughly where readers are, in aggregate. Google’s opt-out add-on or any tracker blocker turns it off, and the site works the same without it.

Browser storage

The machine listing keeps your filters in one sessionStorage key, rfl_setupFilters, so the back link on a machine page returns you to the same filtered list. It is cleared when the tab closes and never leaves your browser. The calculator keeps its choices in the page address, so a link to it can be shared.

The contact form

What you send through the contact form, including your name and email address, is delivered to us so we can answer. It is not added to a mailing list or passed to anyone else.

No accounts, no ads

There are no accounts, no newsletter, no comments and no advertising network. Source links on machine, model and GPU pages go to other sites, which have their own privacy policies.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
